Walmart is moving quickly to expand its ecommerce business, announcing plans to add hundreds of thousands of new customers to its online store in the next three years.

Walmart said on Monday that it would open about 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Mexico next year, as it works to fill its full inventory of merchandise.

The company has been steadily expanding its e-commerce business since the company bought the popular online retailer in 2006.

It has since expanded into digital sales and has added about 5,000 online stores, including a number of its own.

Walton said on its website that it will open 100 stores next year in the United States and Mexico, but will only be able to open one store in each country.

Walmart said it plans to expand to a total of 1,500 stores by 2020.
