RTE 1 How to find what you buy with online shopping sprees article What can you buy online with your shopping spree?

The number of online shoppers who are shopping in shops and on-line shopping sites in Germany has doubled over the past year, according to the country’s official statistics agency.

The number rose by 2.5 percent year-on-year in October.

In November, the number of shoppers who were shopping online in shops rose by 7.6 percent, according the German Trade Ministry.

The increase in online shopping activity is not a coincidence.

The German economy has experienced a sharp downturn since the start of the global financial crisis, with a sharp drop in demand for the countrys traditional consumer goods.

Inflation has also risen sharply, driving up prices for basic items such as food, clothing and furniture.

While the number has risen by 1 percent in the first half of 2017, it is expected to rise by 7 percent in 2018, the trade ministry said.

Last week, the German central bank lowered its interest rate forecast to 0.25 percent for the year ending March 2019.

In the same month, the government released its economic outlook for 2018, which showed an even bigger economic growth.

The economic outlook forecast a further 5.5 million new jobs in the German economy.

In 2018, sales in the country were estimated to have increased by 5.9 percent, compared to the previous year, the finance ministry said in a statement.
